What are myPalmerston vouchers?

myPalmerston vouchers are in digital form with a monetary value that can be used to make purchases at participating Palmerston businesses.

Why were myPalmerston vouchers started?

myPalmerston was created to provide discounts to customers to increase spending in Locally operated Palmerston businesses. This is an economic stimulus initiative by the City of Palmerston to assist the local business community and economy with the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions. The project is aimed to support food, retail, hospitality, and tourism businesses operating a shopfront in the Palmerston municipality.

Is myPalmerston a mobile app or a website?

myPalmerston is a website application that can be accessed via my.palmerston.nt.gov.au which will direct you to the myPalmerston portal. This scheme is not available as a downloadable app.

Who can use myPalmerston vouchers?

Vouchers are available to consumers over the age of 18 years visiting or residing in the Palmerston vicinity.

How do I get myPalmerston vouchers?

Register at my.palmerston.nt.gov.au to create a login to the myPalmerston portal. Once registration is approved, the myPalmerston home page will display your available vouchers.

How many vouchers can I receive?

Each registered user will receive $40.00  worth of vouchers per day, until all funds are redeemed.
Used vouchers are replenished daily. This will be made available in:
This will be made available in 2x $2.50 discount vouchers, 1x $5.00 discount voucher, 1x $10.00 discount voucher and 1x $20.00 discount voucher. 

How does myPalmerston vouchers work?

The voucher can be used at all participating businesses, with a minimum spend being required. The minimum spend are as follows:

  • To use the $2.50 myPalmerston voucher, the minimum spend amount is $10.00
  • To use the $5.00 myPalmerston voucher, the minimum spend amount is $20.00
  • To use the $10.00 myPalmerston voucher, the minimum spend amount is $40.00
  • To use the $20.00 myPalmerston voucher, the minimum spend amount is $80.00
How do I redeem myPalmerston vouchers?

Using an internet enabled smartphone, tablet, or computer, simple click the voucher value you would like to use and show the unique 5-digit alpha numeric code to the cashier at the time of payment. This voucher can also be presented on a print-out or redeemed over the phone. The customer will need to provide the code for the merchant to validate it prior to proceeding with the transaction.

How many vouchers can I use per day?

You can use all $40 worth of vouchers in a day, on the conditions of the minimum spend being achieved and one voucher per transaction, a limit of one voucher per merchant, per day.
Examples:

  • On Monday, us a $5 voucher at Merchant A, then use another voucher at Merchant B
  • On Monday, use a $5 voucher at Merchant A, and use no other voucher at Merchant B
  • On Monday, use a $5 voucher at Merchant A, and on Tuesday, use another voucher of any value at Merchant A
     
Can I use my voucher more than once?

Each myPalmerston voucher is single use only. The full value of the discount must be used at each purchase.

Can I use my voucher for an online purchase?

myPalmerston vouchers must be redeemed in store or over the phone. 

Can I buy alcohol and Tobacco redeeming myPalmerston vouchers?

The scheme does not permit the discount to be applied for the purchase of alcohol and tobacco.

Can I trade the vouchers for cash or purchase a gift card?

The scheme does not permit myPalmerston vouchers to be traded for cash or used to purchase gift cards.

How do I reset my password?

From the login page, click on "Forgot your password?" or click here  to reset your password directly.

When I try to visit myPalmerston website my device says, 'browser is unsupported'.

If you see this message you may need to upgrade the version of the internet browser that you are using. The myPalmerston website works best on the latest versions of web browsers Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

My account is blocked, how do I reactivate it?

Send an email to supportlocal@palmerston.nt.gov.au and advise the email address or mobile phone number associated with your account that needs to be unblocked.
